SLAM LAUNCHES DIAMOND DRILLING PROGRAM AT TSN

In 2008 SLAM reported successful drilling results at Nash Creek and Costigan; gold intercepts in all six holes drilled at Reserve Creek and two new gold discoveries drilled at Miminiska-Keezhik. To top off the year, SLAM reported a new VMS discovery in the Bathurst Mining Camp.

SLAM will continue to let the drill bit do the talking in 2009. The initial drilling program at the TSN discovery has intercepted a stringer sulphide zone typical of VMS deposits such as Brunswick 12 and Heath Steele in the Bathurst Camp. SLAM also reported a new 43-101 compliant resource estimate by Wardrop Engineering for the Nash Creek deposit.

Highlights

Latest Bathurst Mining Camp Discovery
Recent drilling at TSN hit stringer zone mineralization that could lead to a major new VMS discovery in the Bathurst Mining Camp.

New Resource Estimate
SLAM recently reported a new 43-101 compliant estimate by Wardrop Engineering for the Nash Creek Deposit.

Gold Discoveries
Drilling program resulted in 2 new discoveries at Miminiska-Keezhik in 2008.  All six holes drilled at Reserve Creek intercepted significant gold mineralization.  Management believes the East Uchi Subprovince has potential for a new gold mining camp in the Fort Hope area of Ontario.
