SLAM Exploration Ltd. is a mineral resource company based in Miramichi, New Brunswick and is focused on mineral properties with demonstrated ore grades in mineral belts that have proven potential for mining. The Company has well developed expertise for gold and base metal exploration and has an extensive digital database on the Bathurst Mining Camp. This combination has proven effective and allows SLAM to advance its known deposits and at the same time come up with new discoveries with huge blue-sky potential. The Company maintains an active portfolio of Ontario gold properties, New Brunswick silver-copper-lead-zinc properties and is at the forefront of an evolving gold district with new gold discoveries on its Menneval property.
Assays are pending for 47 diamond drill holes drilled in December, 2012 on the Maisie vein at our wholly owned Menneval gold property located adjacent to highway 17 in northwesstern New Brunswick. Quartz veins occur in 42 of the 47 drill holes. Visible gold was reported from 7 holes. The drilling program follows a successful trenching program that followed the Maisie vein over a strike length of 700 m.
The Company reported a 3 M tonne NI 43-101 compliant resource on its wholly owned Nepisiguit deposit In July, 2012. The near surface base metal-silver deposit has potential for open-pit mining.
SLAM's wholly owned Nash Creek zinc-lead deposit contains a 43-101 compliant resource estimate published in February 2009 by Wardrop Engineering Inc. SLAM also owns the Costigan, Nepisiguit and Nash Creek zinc-lead-silver deposits in the Bathurst mining area.
SLAM owns 4 gold properties in the gold producing Uchi Sub-province of northwest Ontario.
The Company is seeking partners with both technical expertise and financial resources to continue with its strategies for project development. SLAM's long-term success depends on making discoveries, and the development of deposits into mines. While the company's current portfolio has excellent potential, SLAM continually searches for new properties and potential acquisitions. SLAM's future may rest on the ability of management to select promising properties and to finance exploration on these properties.
