Communications policy
Material information about all SLAM’s operations and financial performance
will be publicly disclosed in a timely manner at or on
www.sedar.com and in accordance with all
pertinent federal or provincial regulations, including securities
regulations.
Security of information, particularly as it refers to the results of
exploration programs, will comply with all pertinent regulations. Core
samples must be secured from outside inspection and interference, or
accidental internal interference. This means chain of custody must be strictly maintained during transportation, sample
collection, shipping and preparation to avoid tampering or inappropriate
release of privileged information. As well, assay results must be kept
confidential and released only to those on a need-to-know basis. Public
release of results will be conducted only through a news release approved
by head office.
SLAM and its joint venture partners are required to follow national
policy instrument NI-43-101 published by the Canadian Securities
Administrator and adopted by most if not all Canadian provincial
securities commissions.
